Applicant will provide education to individuals and groups regarding health insurance options and Medicaid eligibility. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, assisting with enrollment into health insurance programs. OE Specialist must comply with and successfully complete all applicable federal and/or state consumer assistance training required for personnel carrying out consumer assistance functions as a licensed Navigator in Georgia.
Four years of customer service experience preferred and understanding of the basic principles of managed care and the concepts of publicly financed health insurance such as Medicaid and CHIP programs. Experience with public speaking and leading group meetings. Preferred applicant must hold a four-year college degree in social work, marketing, health care or related field.
