Dr. Murali Yelugapuri, MD
Dr. Murali is married and has one thirteen year old daughter. Dr. Murali attended medical school in India. He completed his residency in Bronx, NY in a hospital with 250 beds and more than 30 ambulatory practices. During residency, he worked in a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit which accommodated 45 sick newborn babies. He has been a member of the American Board of Pediatrics since 2007. He has Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification and Neonatal Resuscitation certification. Additional honors include best medical student, best ER presentation and recognition for pediatric research in residency training.
After residency, Dr. Murali practiced in Monroe, MI and was on the medical staff at Mercy Memorial Hospital. Since 2008, he has been one of four frontline pediatricians in a high-volume pediatric center in Dalton, GA and served on the medical staff of Hamilton Medical Center. He is an expert in treating all sick children from newborn babies to age 21 years. He is experienced in treating children with behavioral and mental health challenges. He is highly knowledgeable in medical treatments of children’s diseases, injuries and disabilities.
