Dr. Murdoc Michael Henderson
Dr. Henderson is originally from Hattiesburg, MS. He attended William Carey College in Hattiesburg, MS where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Chemistry. He then attended the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi where he obtained his MD degree and was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Henderson completed his internship and residency in the specialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado. Dr. Henderson is a Board Certified Fellow of American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Henderson served as a staff physician at Bassett Army Hospital in Fort Wainwright, Alaska where he received an honorable discharge with rank of Major. Dr. Henderson is the Chief OB/GYN at Donalsonville Hospital. He has provided excellent OB/GYN care for patients of Primary Care of Southwest Georgia since 2006.
Dr. Henderson is married and has two children. He enjoys camping, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, mild climbing, fishing and art work for Community Theater.
Note: OB/GYN services are offered in the Blakely site on Thursday afternoons. Services are rotated among the OB/GYN Providers.
