Andrea Hargraves, BSN, MN, CNM
Ms. Hargraves earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Wagner College in Staten Island, NY. She practiced nursing with the Navy from 1977 until she earned her Masters of Nursing with a focus in Nurse-Midwifery from the University of Florida in 1995. She served a Certified Nurse-Midwife with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology U.S. Naval Hospital for four years until she moved to Thomasville, GA and started to practice at the Shaw Center for Women’s Health in 2000. We are glad to have her as a part of the Primary team since March 2015.
Rita Ray, BSN, MN, CNM
Ms. Ray started her career in the medical field in 1971 as a labor and delivery nurse. Since that date she has expanded her career by holding positions such as Family Nurse Practitioner, Emergency Room Supervisor, Public Health Nurse, Clinic Nurse, and a Nurse Midwife. All of these experiences have given her a vast amount of knowledge to provide excellent care to her patients. Ms. Ray has been a Board Certified Nurse Midwife since 1974 and has been practicing in Thomasville since 1984. Ms. Ray joined our team in March 2015.
Elizabeth Robin Wilson, RN, BSN, CNM
Ms. Wilson started her medical career in 1988 when she received her Certificate as Radiologic Technologist from Thomas Technical College. She later completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Thomas College in 2005 and earned Summa cum Laude. In 2007, she earned her Master’s Degree in Science with a focus in Nurse-Midwifery from the Philadelphia University. Following her education, she has been a professor at Bainbridge State College as well as Lanier Technical College helping provide education for nursing students. Ms. Wilson has practiced midwifery at the Shaw Center for Women’s Health serving the women of Thomas County and is now proud to be a part of the Primary Care team since May 2015.
